Changes For 3-1-2022

• Fixed a bug where the new code for the reserves was not properly detecting hit years for items with very low EULs and ARULs.
• Changed the default financial factor values per HUD's guidance, which have gone into effect as of March 1rst this year.

New Features

• You can now change the Duration value for a reserve item within the Deliverable Reports Center, see how it impacts the Reserves and save it.

  • An example of htis is in the screen shot below. Please note that no other columns in the reserves grid are currently editble besides Duration.

    

• Admins are now able to modify the Non HUD Eul values from within Versa. To do this, go to the Admin home screen in Versa to find the navigation link to the Non HUD EUL editor. From there, you will be taken to a grid that lets you modify the EUL values of each EUL Type's EUL per Component Type.

Improvements

• Added Hot Keys to the Open Project Screen:

  • Space, Enter: These will open the current project you have selected in the Grid.
  • Delete (Admins only): This will run the delete command (confirmation message still appears) for administrators.

• The Delete key now lets you delete recently opened project links on the home screen of Versa. Note that this does not delete the actual project, it just deletes the link off your personal home screen list.

• Consolodated the code for the Open Green Project screen with Open Project. This should not result in any actual functional change going forward, but the two are now the same screen with different settings depending on how they are accessed.

• Added clarification to the Estimate Period Recap on the Export to E-Tool Screen noting that while Versa shows the cents on the dollar, HUD does not. Hence there may be some rounding discrepencies between Versa and HUD.

• Rewrote and simplified some of the code for the reserve calculations for better performance and to (hopefully) properly handle situations where the change year of inflation is different from the normal value of 3.

• Marked various Project Creation and Variable Replacer fields in the Parcel Export Screen as Read Only or hid the ones that do not need to be shown.

• Added the following columns to the property information screen's Unit Types grid:

  • Number of Units Per Unit Type

  • Number Of Inspected Units Per Unit Type

  • Site For a Unit Type

    

• When you run a report now in the Deliverable Report Center, Versa will show the wait/loading splash instead of appearing momentarily frozen.

Bug Fixes

• Corrected a bug that was causing an unhandled exception to occurr when saving changes fails on the Interface Screen due to the database connection not being available (I.E. Network cord unplugged, VPN down, server down, etc).

Other Changes

• Updated the Dot Net libraries Versa uses to version 6.02
• Updated the version of Edge that Versa is using
• Updated several other libraries that we use for Versa'
• Added logging to the Report Service that the Report Center uses in case we need to troubleshoot reports with errors.
