Versa August 31st 2021 Release Notes

New Features

  • Password boxes that are on the E-Tool and Parcel Export Screen (not available yet) now have a "Show password" button that let you see what you typed into the password box.

Improvements

Interface

  • The add multiple items window for the Interface now allows you to add the same item multiple times.
  • HUD Map Repair Guide Level and Class Of Work (Scope) have been merged into one field since they were redundant.

Building Screen

  • Versa will now allow you to delete buildings that have units/common areas/inspected units inside of them.
    • A warning will display letting you know that you will lose them if you delete the building.

Documentation Changes

  • Versa's documentation is currently being migrated to sharepoint pages. Building Types is the first screen that will be using this.
  • When you click the help button on the ribbon in a screen in Versa, it will take you to the corresponding help page in Sharepoint.

Other Improvements

  • Added a better error message for cases when Versa gets an error back from Windows when it cannot open a file.
  • Added a better error message for project load errors on the home screen

#Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where validation was not showing red x's on repair location and critical status on the interface screen when the when value was set to Now.
  • Corrected a calculation bug on the financial reports where the capital needs change year / rate was not being applied on the year of change.
  • Fixed a bug where an unhandled exception could occur on the property details screen when there was a database connection error.
  • Fixed a bug where PHA and PHE rolls were not being recognized when exporting to the E-Tool
  • Fixed a bug where no descriptive error was showing on the project screen when an error occurred on loading

Other Changes

  • Updated DevExpress, DotNet and other libraries for Versa to the latest versions for bug fixes and performance improvements.
  • Renamed the Versa Core library from Versa.Common.Core to Versa.Core (this should not cause any noticeable changes).
