Additional Changes for 6/18/2021
Loosened up the restrictions on what characters can be used for the Unit Types screen, based on feedback from Chris and Matt.
The bug fix listed below for the Interface has been changed due to undesierable side effects discovered by Adam:
Now when you enter 0 for the ARUL on an End of Cycle item or have a negative SRUL. Versa will just highlight the cell in yellow and it will let you save it.
HOWEVER, if you try to run a report or export to the E-Tool, you will be told you cannot becuase of the zero ARULs and/or negative SRULs. You will be instructed to go back to the interface and change it.
Additional Changes For 6/7/2021
- Fixed a bug caused by test code being left in the reserves service in Versa. The test code has been removed because it was causing spreading to malfunction.
Improvements
E-Tool Export Service / Screen
Versa now checks for duplicate common areas (common areas with the same name in the same buildings) before sending any data to HUD's website.
Versa now checks for bad phone numbers on Participants before sending any data to HUD's website.
-In the case either of the above are true, Versa will stop the export and will tell you what is wrong so you do not have to wait for it to fail during the export.
Participants Screen
You can now clear the phone numbers for participants on the participants screen. The clear button will appear on the right side of the phone number cell/field.
- This is useful in the event you have a bad phone number that was imported by the companion and you cannot see all the text due to the phone number format on the cell/field.
Other Changes
- The code that handles most of the save errors has been cleaned up and re-organized so that error messages due to save failures are more consistently formatted.
- This also fixes a bug where the Interface was not showing the correct error message window when there were multiple line items with bad data.
- In many cases, the name of the building/site/etc that has an error when saving changes should now be listed next to the error reason.
- Updated the version of .NET that Versa uses to 5.0.7 as part of Microsoft's June updates.
Bug Fixes
## Interface
Fixed a bug that was allowing people to enter ARULs of 0 for end of cycle items with negative SRULs. Going forward, you should not be able to save an End of Cycle item with an SRUL and/or ARUL of zero or less.
Participants
- Fixed a bug that was allowing people to type in invalid phone numbers into the phone number cells on the Participants screen.
Common Areas
- The common areas screen was not properly checking for duplicates before saving. As a result you could save duplicates and Versa would never tell you about it. This has been fixed.
