Improvements
The interface has been adjusted to use 'Optimized Mode' for the grid; this may help with scrolling and other performance cases, although results may vary or not be noticable in cases where your computer was already handling it just fine.
The Price column now displays on the select component window's grid.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a mistake in the URL that Edge was using where it was not going directly to the Versa website. It should load a little faster now.
Fixed a bug where the selected item on the Inspected Units screen was getting stuck as the top item, causing copy/edit/delete to malfunction.
Corrected a mistake made with the logic for hiding the E-Tool navigation menu items (it was still showing the heading item when in ASTM mode).
Improvements
General Improvements
Versa now memorizes the state of the Ribbon when you change it from regular/classic mode to simplified mode.
- To change the Ribbon to simplified mode, either right click on it and select the option to display it in simplified mode or use the up/down arrow on the right side of it.
- This state will be memorized between restarts and is saved to the settings file on your computer.
We have re-enabled the ability to use Hot Keys (press alt on your keyboard to display them) for the Ribbon.
- This feature had to be disabled in a previous update becuase of a bug that had to be fixed by Microsoft & DevExpress.
Interface Screen Improvements
Sorting by Interface Line Item Name has been improved and now should now be more accurate in both ascending and descending order.
- There were instances where the numeric order was not being properly obeyed.
Entering an invalid name for an Interface Line Item (I.E. Entering shingles without the numeric prefix of 21-) will now result in a validation error.
Other Improvements
- We updated the version of Entity Framework (the data access technology that Versa uses) to the latest version for some important bug fixes.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a startup error bug in the method that attempts to move custom layouts to the correct folder if they got saved to the wrong folder.
Made a correction to the Minimum Balance Required calculations not adhering propertly to the Capital Needs Change Year for E-Tool projects.
The DEEM button on the ribbon now no longer displays for users who are not supposed to have access to DEEM.
Fixed a performance bug for the Interface that was causing lag when selecting items after opening the add/edit panel.
Corrected an oversight for the "Enter Moves Focused Item Down" setting that was causing it to not work correctly for grids that allow bulk updating (I.E. The Interface Grid).
