Maintenance (11/24/2020)
- Fixed several bugs with the Companion Import (restricted to admins and revisions only):
- You can now drag the companion and e-tool files onto the text boxes for their paths instead of having to click the find buttons for the files.
- The companion importer was erroniously checking inside the companion still for the project number; it no longer does this and uses the one on the import screen correctly.
- Fixed a bug where if an interface line item had a blank critical status (I.E. Critical / Non - Critical), it was causing the import to error out.
- Fixed another bug where the companion importer was creating uneeded extra critical sub categories in the database if they were the defaults.
- Fixed a long lingering bug that caused the companion importer to not reset itself after each import attempt. You now no longer need to leave the screen and-reenter it.
- Finally, fixed a bug that was causing the companion importer's wait indicator / progress to disappear mid import.
Improvements
The columns for parking on the Sites, Units, Common Areas and Property Information screens have been adjusted so that they use columns that reflect the changes to parking in E-Tool 3.0.
- For example, parking for regular spaces is now all inclusive of accessible spaces. So going forward you only need to enter ALL of the spaces in the standard including accessible fields and then enter ONLY the accessible in the accessible fields (I.E. If you have 100 standard and 3 accessible, you will enter 103 in the all including accessible field and 3 in the accessible field).
- If you have questions 🤔 about this change, please ask Stevie White or Chris Olive.
New columns for percent accessible have been added to the Units and Common Area Screens Grids.
The defualt column header widths and heights have been adjusted on Sites, Property Information, Units and Common Areas.
The revamped Validation Flag screen has had the help section improved to provide more information and details on how to use it.
The Building screen now checks for duplicates within sites instead of across the entire project. This means you can have two buildings with the same name between two sites instead of all buildings in the entire project needing to have unique names.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug causing the Inspection Status "Unable To Enter" to not export to the E-Tool website.
Fixed another bug that caused unhelpful errors to display when HUD's website did not respond fast enough or otherwise errored out responding to Versa. 🙊
- HUD is aware of the bad website performance and they are "looking into it", but they have no ETA on when it will be completely fixed. 🤷♂️
Fixed some spots where errors could occur using the new select component / select multiple component view for the Interface.
- There may be a couple other spots where errors can occurr with the select multiple components view since this view uses the special drag feature. We're trying to determine if this is a bug in Microsoft or DevExpress' code or something we can fix on our own end - assuming that the errors have not been fixed. 😉
Other Changes
- The Units and Common Areas screens no longer will allow you to save Units or Common Areas with more accessible spaces than spaces overall. This never made sense and it isn't something that can be exported to the E-Tool anyways. 👻 😛
